Helping Cancer Families
Having spent 9 months in the hospital with Arden during her treatment, we have a first-hand glimpse of what life is like for the families whose children are receiving care RIGHT NOW.
We do our best to support the greatest needs of the cancer-fighting families right here in our community.

The Blast 5K Walk/Run
Arden’s Allies has participated in The Blast, which raises money for Cook Children’s Hematology-Oncology Department, working to bring more world-class treatments and clinical trials to Fort Worth, so patients can receive the lifesaving care they need closer to home.

Kindness Week Donation Drive
Our local elementary school community hosts a donation drive to supply Cook Children’s Hematology-Oncology department with toys, crafts, books and other items that kids can use to stay busy and engaged during long hospital stays and clinic visits.

Cook Children’s Case Management
Cook Children’s Case Management department connects families to the resources they need, above and beyond the medical care they provide for their patients. That looks different for every family, but it might mean helping a family who can’t afford their child’s medication, easing the burden of rent and bills they’re unable to pay because they have to be at the hospital or making it possible for them to come to follow-up appointments by providing a gas card or taxi service. We like supporting this fund because we believe that nothing should stand in the way of getting a child the care they need.
